The Getting Started With PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud for Administrators course introduced students to a broad range of the identity management and access management features of PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (Advanced Identity Cloud), formerly known as ForgeRock® Identity Cloud. Each lesson briefly covered the core concepts and basic implementation of a feature, but did not go into any depth. This course explores the identity management-related features in more depth, how they work, and the configuration options available during implementation.

This course provides the information you will need to install and administer each component of the PingDirectory platform: PingDirectory, PingDirectoryProxy Server, and PingDataSync Server.
The class topics include:
  • Overview of PingDirectory and installation
  • Deploying and configuring PingDirectory
  • Deploying and configuring PingDirectoryProxy Server
  • Deploying and configuring PingDataSync ServeR
  • PingDirectory maintenance and troubleshooting
This course consists of lectures and hands-on lab exercises. Each student is required to provide their own laptop that has an SSH client and configuration allowing connections to WiFi and access to external servers.


This course is built on version 10.

Students are provided with a live Advanced Identity Cloud environment, where they learn the concepts and tasks necessary to successfully manage identities, applications, user journeys, and tenant configuration in their own Advanced Identity Cloud.
